As you are aware, coding is the most important part of a health care facility’s remuneration processes.  Even small error rates in coding can result in large shortfalls in financial entitlements to organizations such as yours.   It is our experience that at almost every single new facility we audit, we locate funds owing to the facility because of inaccurate coding.

Our expert team of coding auditors and contract coders achieve twice the industry standard of average records per hour.  For example, our highly trained staff could audit or enter up to $100,000 worth of episodes per day.

SECURITY AND SAFETY

Resolutions uses hardkey to encrypt and secure scanned personal health records when performing remote coding. This enables the client to receive their coding with a quick turnaround, ensuring prompt submission of invoices – positively affecting cash flow.

We use hardkey to audit medical records in smaller facilities who do not have the space to accommodate an audit. Clients send their scanned encrypted records via disk to our premises so the audit can be conducted promptly and out of work hours.

The reason why we use hardkey and not just any encryption software is because hardkey is a multifunctional key allowing security of a computer and its software. Hardkey is able to lock folders or individuals and programs on a particular computer.

The biggest threat is access to computer files and folders from hackers whilst users are on the internet – hardkey protects users from this. As a consultant, we use the key to protect the contents of our laptops as we hold identified patient information from various clients. If the laptop were to be stolen, the hardkey renders the laptop useless as without it, all files and programs cannot be accessed. It is 'insurance' for us and protects us from any implications under the Privacy Act.
